During Tuesday's America's Got Talent episode, Simon Cowell rang his golden bell for 14-year-old Polish singer Sarah James.

During Tuesday's America's Got Talent episode, a judge and executive producer rang the golden bell for 14-year-old Polish singer Sarah James.

James surprised the judges with a rendition of Billy Eish's "Lovely," but eventually, Cowell, 62, pressed a button he wanted to send the teenager in person.

"We've heard a lot of singers over the years, but wow," Cowell said. There is a true stellar brilliance within you.

The moment came after James revealed it was his first time in the United States. Cowell later told him he wanted his dream to come true and continued to ring his golden bell.

"This is probably the place where you dream of playing. I remember when I first came to America; it was a moment I will never forget," said Cowell. "And I want to make this moment one you will remember forever." James, suspicious and emotional on stage, told PEOPLE that the excitement hadn't died down.

"Honestly, I'm speechless. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps... I'm so happy," she said. "This is something I dreamed of, and it happened. It's so crazy!

"Dreams come true in America. It's just amazing," he added. "[Simon] made this trip to America so beautiful - and America is excellent, to be honest. I fell in love and wanted to live there - but it was such a fantastic moment, and thinking about it makes me want to cry.

Cowell told news: "I rang my golden bells for Sarah because I thought she was a full star. She flew all over the world to audition at AGT "to see if dreams come true" resonated with me because I had thoughts that was 20 years ago. I just don't have the talent!" James said he started singing when he was "about 3 or 4" and was a long-time fan of the show, though he never thought he'd audition.
