When NBA star Kevin Love also model and businessman Kate Bock wed on June 25, it was a hell of a team effort. The pair collaborated with the phenomenon to plan Marcy Bloom's party at the glamorous Gatsby-inspired party at the historic New York Public Library. And the stunning lineup of dresses for longtime lovers isn't limited to the ceremony. The couple 1st met in 2016 and got engaged in 2021 and collaborated with Ralph Lauren on their wedding vision. Bock told news that the pair were even gearing up together rather than revealing the big ceremony. "Kevin and I don't think it's important to separate," she said. "We planned the wedding, prepared it together, and went to the library together.
But despite the couple taking an unusual trip to prepare for the ceremony, Love was surprised to see his future wife in her wedding dress. She told news she'd seen the dress before and even seen Bock in it, but watching it all come together before they said yes was an unreal moment. "That dress and Kate stopped everyone along the way," he said. The fashion house's Grace Kelly-inspired bock dress took "minutes" to collect, she admits, but it was worth the wait. "We went back and forth with the sketch, smoothing out the intricate details to make sure every inch was perfect," says the model, entrepreneur, and founder of Love Kate. “I think the whole design process took about a year. I love the design, so it was one of the funniest parts of the wedding planning process.”
Love and Bock celebrated their wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner at the Polo Bar in New York. Bock wore a white dress and one-shoulder jacket from Oscar de la Renta with Stuart Weitzman shoes, while Love wore a pearl gray suit from Ralph Lauren, vintage Ralph Lauren pins, and a limited-edition Vacheron Constantin 222 watch. .
