The 80-year-old lifestyle mogul opened up about his longtime friendship with the Grammy-nominated 50-year-old rapper in an interview with Insider to promote his upcoming project, The Martha Stewart Podcast on iHeartRadio.

I said, "You know Snoop, when I go to parties, everybody wants to know how Snoop Dogg is doing?" recalls Stewart. And he said, "Would you like to know something, Martha?" So when I go to parties, everyone wants to know how Martha is." He admired Snoop as the "guest of choice" for the podcast after recording the first episode together. , premiered on April 22. "Snoop is great because he's very talkative, and I love his voice," Stewart added.

Stewart and Snoop have been friends since she appeared on her eponymous show Martha in 2008, helping her make mashed potatoes: "I'm learning a new dictionary. I have a little dictionary — I can write a dictionary." Of course, news  then say, "This is all schizophrenics and whatnot."

Snoop echoed the sentiment before The Hollywood Reporter when they launched their VH1 cooking show Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party. "My housemaid Martha and I have a special relationship going back," she said in 2017.
