Giada De Laurentiis shares a sweet tribute to boyfriend Shane Farley for his 50th birthday.
"Happy day to the one who calmed my nervous system," wrote De Laurentiis, 51, on his Instagram Story, tagging his name next to a red heart.
The couple, who have been together for more than six years, celebrated with a holiday to remember. In the photo, Farley smiles as he sits in front of a large plate of birthday dessert. From a chocolate cake to three scoops of ice cream to a cake decorated with birthday candles, it's no wonder she looks happy. Most recently, the couple supported De Laurentiis' 14-year-old daughter, Jade, with her high school graduation. The TV chef posted photos to Instagram in honor of the big event, including a picture of Jade and Farley smiling together at the open ceremony.
"I can't believe how fast time flies! I'm so proud of you, Jade! ï¸ On to the next exciting chapter - 9th grade!! #mommymoments," De Laurentiis wrote in the caption.
Todd Thompson, Jade's father, who split from De Laurentiis in 2014, also posed for photos with De Laurentiis and the newcomer.
Apart from graduation, De Laurentiis and Farley have been cracking funny jokes late. De Laurentiis told TikTok they were trying the "healthy Coca-Cola" trend that went viral on TikTok and the pair disagreed.
In the video, De Laurentiis makes a drink that combines balsamic vinegar and sparkling water and leaves a glowing review. "He's so nice! And I don't even use flavored sparkling water," she said.
When it came time for Farley to do a taste test, he didn't look excited. De Laurentiis, who said the "healthy car" was "tasty" and "syrup," clearly couldn't influence his partner's opinion.
He took a few sips, paused, and stared wide-eyed at de Laurentiis, clearly not enjoying his drink. Then, after a chuckle from De Laurentiis, Farley commented. "I don't know anything about that," he said. "I don't know because maybe I just saw him do it and thought it was crazy, so it might bother me. But I don't know."
