Brooke Shields is preparing something special for Father's Day with the help of her husband Chris Henchi!

On Friday, the 57-year-old shared the latest part of Brooke's Don't Cook fun segment on his community's Instagram page. Her husband, screenwriter Chris Henchy, is featured in the Father's Day special, in which Shields says, "Because Brooke doesn't cook, I married the man who cooks. Chris Henchy, he cooks."

He joked that Henchi - with whom he shares daughters Rowan, 19, and Greer, 16 - for the Father's Day experience "will suffer while he teaches me in the kitchen and will not be disappointed."

He said to Henchi, "Teach me, don't just say 'I'll do it.' "

After agreeing to the rules, Henchi said he and Shields made a "very easy" grilled chicken with apricot bourbon glaze and baked potato. The 1st step was to preheat the oven to 350 degrees, which Shields did after confirming that the stove should be on the "Bake" setting. Before Henchi washed the chicken, he explained to his 21-year-old wife how to make a unique mixture of sugar, salt, soy sauce, ice, and warm water to soak the chicken in ice because she didn't have time to wash the chicken. Soak the meat overnight.

For a fragrant apricot glaze, Shields uses a cheese grater to grate the onions like a pro before adding a cup of bourbon and letting it simmer on a hot plate with olive oil. Next, shields showed her multitasking skills and got ready to cook the potatoes while Henchi reminded her to check the sauce. Finally, she completes the topping with apricot jam, salt, pepper, and cumin.

His role as a chef continues as he sips a small glass of wine before slicing the garlic and adding rosemary, salt, and pepper to the potatoes. He asked Henchi to show him the way as he decided if the potatoes were ready to be grated and put in the oven.
