Jordan Rodgers has fulfilled his marriage vows to Joe Fletcher!

After a six-year engagement and two pandemic delays, the star of The Bachelorette married in May and honeymooned in Europe. Fletcher told PEOPLE in May that there was a non-negotiable request when he visited Paris on the second leg of his trip: Rodgers should try escargot. On Monday, Fletcher announced that he had finally been granted his wish!

In an Instagram post, she posted a selfie of the newlyweds in front of the Eiffel Tower at sunset, along with photos and videos of Rodgers eating French delicacies. "While in Paris... @jrodgers11 😂," he wrote in the post's caption.

In the video, the pair have dinner outdoors while Rodgers opens a bowl filled with special utensils. "Go on," said Fletcher as Rodgers hesitantly put his fork in his mouth.

"And…?" Fletcher asked when he finally tried.

"Not bad," said Rodgers, smiling as he complied with his wife's request. Fletcher took the opportunity to show off his three Ring Concierge wedding rings in the video as he shook hands with his new husband - clearly proud of his gastronomic accomplishment.

Rodgers even enjoyed the cooked snails, adding, "It tastes like garlic." Fletcher closed the video and moved on to the five escargots on the plate. With Rodgers' reviews raving about, he may have returned for more off-camera. In May, Fletcher told PEOPLE that "Jordan refuses to try escargot."

"But he once told me that if we were in Paris and could see the Eiffel Tower, it would be tilted with me. I wouldn't say I like it that much, but I wanted him to try me - and now we're going to Paris for the month. Our honey," he said of the filled-out honeymoon list.

While Rodgers isn't a picky eater, Fletcher says he's "fun with textures" and "would struggle" when it comes to the French dining experience. "He's always like, 'Why should I eat snails when I can get them from my garden?'" He laughs.

Finally, the taste test worked. The real estate developer's Instagram post is the first look of the honeymoon he's posted on his show.
