"He'll do it in a second," Melanie Linsky told JASON Ritter's HUMAN news, which has a potential cameo on his Showtime series Yellowjackets.
The 45-year-old actress told PEOPLE that her husband Jason Ritter would "lose his mind" to make a cameo on the Showtime series while attending Saturday's For Your Consideration for the Hollywood Forever Cemetery Show being held in Los Angeles.
"I thought he would do anything. "I would do," said Linsky. "I mean, I want them to choose who they want. I would never pressure my husband against it. But they should know he'll be doing it any minute." Knight, 42, and Justin Timberlake previously made a double husband cameo in Hulu's Candy starring Linsky and Timberlake's wife, Jessica Biel. A true-crime miniseries tells the story of housewife Candy Montgomery (Bill), who kills her neighbor Betty Gore (Linsky) with an ax in 1908.
During Saturday's show, Linsky revealed that Sophie Nellis, who plays the teenage character of her Yellowjackets character, had offered babysitting services to the couple's 3-year-old daughter. "He's so great. I love him so much, and I love him so much. "I'm so happy because he's so talented. Whenever I watch the show, I say to myself, 'Oh, these are the building blocks of my accomplishments,'" she said of their behind-the-scenes relationship. "I thought she was a genius, and she was like that. Person. He's hilarious. She's so sweet."
"We could do a little bit, and she always offered to babysit such a sweet baby. She said, "If you need a babysitter..." I love her. "I think we're all so lucky with our young fellows. ."
In Yellowjackets, 22-year-old Linsky and Nelis Sean star at two different points in their lives. First, the show follows a high school girls' soccer team whose plane crashed in the Canadian wilderness in 1996, exiting them stranded for 19 months. A different timeline follows young women from today's adults who struggle with trauma and keep their secrets about what happened in the jungle.
