"I do not remember it being part of the original Footloose choreography," Kevin Bacon joked about the dance.

Nearly 40 years after its release on Footloose in 1984, Kevin Bacon is still on the move!

In a video Bacon shared to his Instagram account on Tuesday, the 62-year-old actor - with the help of his wife Kira Sedgwick - tries out the famous "Footloose Drop," a trend on TikTok that has hit millions of social media channels. View.

Set to the film's title track by Kenny Logins, this trend features a man holding another person's arms and legs before falling into the rhythm.

This move may be new to Bacon, but he and 54-year-old Sedgwick made it easy, even giving each other fives after they were done.

They were applauded by many of their famous friends in the comments. His 30-year-old daughter, Suzie, even showed her support for her mother and father. Bacon and Sedgwick have been married since 1988. Apart from Sozi, the couple is the parents of their 33-year-old son, Travis.

In 2020, Bacon revealed to the news what made their relationship special. "Kira and I trust each other as actors, directors, and talents. He's never done anything but supports me," she said. "He has no competitiveness in his body when it comes to me. He accepted my success as his own. The same thing happened to me."

At the time, he also revealed that they had spent the past few months together in quarantine at home to get used to their new, everyday lives.

"We cook, we clean, we decide what to eat for the next meal, and then we prepare it, we clean it, and we decide what to eat for the next meal," he says with a laugh.

But there was no one he would rather live with. "Their partnership was invaluable," Bacon said. "I found someone I needed to be with."
