"I'm saving energy for Pride," Joel Kim Booster told news during an appearance at the Coach's Go All Out for Pride campaign. So Joel Kim Booster hit the reset button for Pride month.
The 34-year-old Fire Island star told news about her pre-Pride ritual while in a talented LGBTQ group for the Coach's Go All Out For Pride campaign for the brand's longtime partner, the Hetrick-Martin Institute, to take place.
"I usually go into hibernation as soon as possible to prepare myself mentally. I'm not going out. "I'm saving energy for Pride," said Booster. "And then when you get into it, guys, it's all about hydration, hydration, hydration, hydration, hydration. I think it's about staying healthy and getting through everything. "For his campaign page, Booster wore a collection from the Coach 2022 Pride Collection, including the Rainbow Signature Vest, Hitch Backback, and Citysole Court Sneaker, all featuring the brand's signature dual logo.
During Pride, the comedian noted that he packed survival gear in his duffel bag, which consisted of essential items like water, a water wand, chewing gum, and "any other gear I might need."
Booster also refers to Hanes' ribbed tank as his "favorite piece." And although his hands are always ready with a tank top, he maintains a healthy approach to fitness that isn't just about swagger: "It's about consistency. For me, fitness is a ritual I have to learn to incorporate into my life. For other reasons, my hands are looking good in a tank top," he said, adding, "That wasn't enough motivation to keep me there.
"I feel more depressed because I don't look the way I want to. And when I hit the button and say, "This is something you do for yourself, not to make other people want you," it is when you start clicking, and it became a real ritual I had to follow," Booster continued.
In his new film Fire Island, a groundbreaking gay romantic comedy inspired by Jane Austen's classic novel Pride and Prejudice and set in a popular LGBTQ tourist destination, Booster recalls that his wardrobe trailer was full of T-shirts and swims trunks.
"So funny, I thought I only wore three or four tank tops in the movie, but there are so many duplicates floating around," he said. "There were probably over 40 tank tops, but they flew in and out of the trailer."
