The Tupac Shakur family extends its legacy.

The mansion will open Powamekka Café June 16-30 at 800 W. Olympic Boulevard in L.A. Live, reports Eater Los Angeles. Part of Sacramento's Fixins Soul Kitchen, the pop-up restaurant, serves classics like fried chicken wings, gumbo, and minced meat for lunch and dinner.

Rapper "Changes" developed the concept for the restaurant before his death in 1996. He dreamed of Powamekka Café becoming a place for "divas" and "play," according to notes his family and officials later found sharing an Instagram page when the Los Angeles location was announced.

Italian food prepared by renowned [sic] chefs or the best Southern and Creole food from generations of recipes and traditions if you want more from us making the best sandwiches in the world," he wrote in his note.

According to Eater Los Angeles, Powamekka Café is in places like Fresno, California, and New York. For his performance in Los Angeles, he teamed up with L.A. Displays. Live Wake Me When I'm Free, welcoming the life and legacy of Tupac.

This is not the first pop-up-inspired pop-up in Los Angeles. In February, Eminem brought his famous Detroit Mom Spaghetti to the City of Angels during Super Bowl Week.

In September, Eminem spread Mom's Spaghetti in his hometown of Detroit, based on the famous lyrics of his 2002 hit "Lose Yourself." It offers a simple menu of perfect Italian dishes such as spaghetti, meatballs, and s'geti sandwich sandwiches

"His palms were sweaty, his knees were weak, his hands were heavy," he says at the start of a song he wrote for the soundtrack of his film 8 Miles. "There's already vomit on his sweater, mom's spaghetti."

Em (born Marshall Mathers) first turned lyrics into food concepts in 2017, opening Mom's Spaghetti as a pop-up shop at Detroit's famous music venue, The Shelter, while promoting the release of her album Revival. In April 2020, he sent containers of spaghetti to frontline workers at Henry Ford Hospital, and DMC helped those in need during the coronavirus crisis.
