Last week, the Republican National Committee (RNC) dispatched a scripted call to voters' phones on behalf of newly appointed co-chair Lara Trump, alleging that Democrats engaged in "massive fraud" during the election.
This move reflects the RNC's continued propagation of falsehoods surrounding the election, despite calls from prominent Republicans to focus on future electoral strategies for 2024.
The call highlighted various alleged irregularities, such as the absence of photo IDs, insecure ballot drop boxes, widespread mailing of ballots, and voter rolls containing deceased individuals and non-citizens, framing them as evidence of significant fraud.
It warned that if left unaddressed, Democratic initiatives could result in the nullification of legitimate votes by non-citizens.
The assertion of "massive fraud" represents a notable departure in messaging for the RNC, which had not consistently emphasized such claims since the departure of Donald Trump from office.
