Ariana Grande has tantalized fans with a sneak peek of her upcoming music video for "The Boy Is Mine". The brief but intriguing preview, shared on Instagram, hints at a captivating visual experience. The video is set to be unveiled .

In the teaser, an unidentified actor places a drink down and then fills a bathroom sink with a bucket of ice, dunking his face into it. Meanwhile, a mysterious hand wearing a claw-like glove creeps around a nearby doorframe. Just before revealing what lies behind the door, the video's title and release date flash on the screen.

Grande had previously uploaded photos to Instagram, sparking speculation that they were from the music video set. In these images, she wears a cat-ear headband, and hearts with the words "TRUE LOVE" and "BE MINE" adorn her wall next to a painted portrait. The portrait's subject remains hidden, showing only their bottom lip down to their shoulders.

Director Christian Breslauer, known for his work on Grande's visuals, including "Yes, And?" and "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" from her *Eternal Sunshine* album, added to the anticipation. He commented on Grande's teaser, encouraging viewers to get ready for "ACT III" and teasing the imminent release.

While fans eagerly await "The Boy Is Mine," Grande's current single, "We Can't Be   Friends "holds the top spot on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart (dated May 25). This chart, which has been tracking songs since October 1992, ranks them based on weekly plays across over 150 mainstream top 40 radio stations monitored by Mediabase, with data provided to Billboard by Luminate. Notably, "We Can't Be Friends" previously reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart in the same week that *Eternal Sunshine* debuted at No. 1 on the **Billboard 200 albums chart.
