"I'm a boisterous, passionate, idiotic person," Shep Rose told news what viewers can expect in Season 8 of Southern Charm, which premieres Thursday on Bravo.
Shep Rose and his girlfriend Taylor Ann Green seem to be heading for the rocky waters this Southern Charm season, but he promises things will return to normal.
Ahead of Thursday's Season 8 premiere, Rose spoke exclusively to news about the apparent rift in her relationship, annoyed at the trailer, and insisted "good things are on the horizon."
"It's hard to connect in front of the camera," Rose, 42, told news. "As much as you want to do and say the right thing, just add friends and booze, and things can burn."
Rose doesn't appear to have done much to "compose" her language as she refers to Green as a "damn idiot" in the trailer, which also features 27-year-old Green crying as he meets his interlocutor, Leva Bonaparte: "What's going on? I'm starting to question everything. "Looking back over the past few years since she and Green went official in 2020, Rose admits she needed to grow on and off-camera. Finally, he did a massive development for the Southern Wizards after spending the show's first few seasons as a happy bachelor.
"The way I describe it, in all my years on the show, juggling balls - that's who I am," he said. "Now I'm juggling myself, juggling my boyfriend and our relationship."
He added, "Taylor was a huge help in pulling me by the collar when they had to pull me by the collar," admitting that he was "a vicious, passionate and idiotic person." Rose previously realized that she had "hiccups" in her relationship with Green, and the trailer reveals that she still gets "envy" at times.
Rose said: "Sometimes it gets worse if you try too hard. I think I suffered a bit because I tried too hard. I don't know. It was hurricane season.
