"This is Max's first time here for one of the ultrasounds, so that it will be fine," Peta Murgatroyd said in an Instagram video posted on Monday.
The 35-year-old professional dancer and her 42-year-old husband, who is currently trying to conceive their second baby, shared a video on Instagram on Monday of a recent ultrasound class they took together.
Very close and personal ultrasound course Meet my follicle guys ï¸ @maksimc just a little traumatized by some "instruments"! " signed the publication of Murgatroyd.
"I apologize in advance, @drmarksurrey, for our immature humor," he added.
In the video, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy update followers from the doctor's office. "This is Max's first time here for one of the ultrasounds so that it will be fine," the New Zealand man says in the video. "This is the last ultrasound before we know what day we will release the eggs. First, I'll show you what my follicles look like... if not, TMI.
According to the global IVF institute Elite IVF, a follicle is a fluid-filled sac found in a woman's ovary that contains an immature, developing egg. Once they reach their full size, the hair ruptures, releasing an egg ripe for fertilization. Part of Murgatroyd's treatment involved a new daily routine of two different injections.
"Today, I fell pregnant for the first time," Murgatroyd said in her Instagram video Monday.
"I'm not pregnant," she explained. "I'm not sure what day it is, as the ninth or tenth day of these drugs, so I feel like it's working because I feel like I'm pregnant. My breasts are sore."
After the appointment, Murgatroyd said he and Cmerkowski were told by their nurse they had "11 giant follicles in one ovary and 17 giant follicles in the other," adding, "Let's have lots of babies! Let's make a football team; what do you mean? " ?
