Celebrating Justin Long's birthday earlier this month, Kate Bosworth wrote, "Thank you for bringing peace to my heart since the day we met."

In an Instagram post on Monday, Bosworth, 39, shared photos from his trip to Dublin, Ireland, of himself calming down by the river with his girlfriend, Justin Long. Although Bosworth did not officially caption the photo – along with a shamrock emoji and a yellow heart – Long, 44, made the comments joke.

"The first! This is the second," he said of his race to comment in front of everyone on Instagram. "Third, if I count the bots."

The House of Darkness actress was spotted with Long in Los Angeles in March. Before the couple officially confirmed their relationship in April, they were photographed kissing on a Hawaiian beach.

Long appeared on Nick Viall's podcast, The Viall Files, to talk about his secret relationship at the time, without naming Bosworth as his girlfriend. "I have reach a point where I feel comfortable. I didn't know at the time, but I was ready for it," he said. "And that's what I met. I found it."

The accepted actor added that he wanted to keep his relationship private from the public. "I want to [talk about it], but I also want to be protected. I want to scream from the roof, but I also want to be protected. That's sacred," he said. On June 2, Bosworth celebrated Long's birthday with a cute bow on Instagram. "You were born today, and the world shines brighter than you know, and years later, you meet a girl whose life was dismantled/reset, but you were patient, and in time, she fell in love, now she has that (long forgotten) brilliance she is so grateful *more than you will ever know," she wrote in the caption.

"Thank you for bringing peace to my heart from the first day we met," added Bosworth.

He wrote back in the comments, "Loving you is the best gift I ever received) (I'll tell you personally as soon as I get out of the shower ;)."
