Caroline Stanbury, star of Dubai's True Wives, said she was robbed while on holiday in Greece on Saturday.
The 46-year-old had just arrived in Mykonos with her husband, former Real Madrid player Sergio Carlo, 27, and their daughter Yasmin, 16, three hours before the alleged robbery.
On Monday, Stanbury spoke to the news about what they thought was happening at their rented vacation home. But unfortunately, information could not confirm the incident with local authorities.
Upon arrival, the family found the house, which they said was "in the middle of nowhere," did not have a cell phone or security system. So they decided to move to another property. However, when he and Karalo returned from dinner on Saturday to pick up their luggage and move to another villa at around 11:30 am, they came across a terrifying sight.
"I laughed with Sergio that it was so far away. It was a scary place. But I said to myself: 'What if someone was in the house? Can you imagine? No one would hear us,'" recalls. "And he opened the door. And said 'boo' to throw me in a joke." he said. When they saw the lights upstairs, "they realized there was someone else in the house," which he admits was "the scary part."
The former Ladies of London and Carrillo cast members immediately ran to their driver and called the police. They were returning home when police arrived and found the camera, jewelry, and all of Stanbury's bags missing. But, above all, one particular element is missing.
"They took my husband's wedding ring, which was destroyed," she added. However, Stanbury is grateful that "everyone is OK," and he and his family have moved to a hotel where they are looked after at night when they go out.
The Bravo star shared a video of the episode on his Instagram, showing his suitcase, belongings and clothes strewn on the floor. He also shared a photo of a door that looks open.
